| Goal of subject |

| The main goal of the cource is to give the ICT specialist a practical experience about PC assembling, repairing and device configuration. |
|
| Learning outcomes of the subject |

After completing this course, the students are able to:
1. assemble a personal computer;
2. build a local network (incl configuring wireless network) and bring out how different devices affect network's throughput;
3. create different file systems, install an operating system, and create virtual machines;
4. articulate properties of different types of storage devices and computer bus interfaces;
5. assess the effects of various parameters to the computer performance;
6. compose and format practical assignment reports in accordance to the given requirements (incl. correct Estonian grammar). |
