| Goal of subject |
| The goal of the subject is to give students overview about sensors and actuators, their principles and possible applications. |
|
| Learning outcomes of the subject |
Student who has passed the subject:
• is able to name possible applications for sensors and actuators;
• understands the physical and chemical principles of different sensors and actuators, also their features and future trends;
• is able to estimate environmental effect on the accuracy of the sensors (i.e. temperature sensitivity);
• is able to find information about restrictions (boundary conditions) of using sensors and actuators;
• applies obtained knowledge when developing electronic systems including information and data acquisition tasks. |
