Conditions for commencing studies

· secondary education or the qualification equal hereto received in some foreign country;
· national exam in sciences (mathematics or physics),
· national exam in a foreign language (English, German or French),
· command of the language of instruction that shall meet Level B2 description of the Common European Framework of References for Languages,
· other prerequisites prescribed by admission regulation.

Learning outcomes

The student having passed the curriculum of Aviation Management:
• has an advanced sense of responsibility for their speciality related activities aimed at ensuring aviation safety;
• explains orally or in written in the Estonian and/or the English language speciality related problems and participates in speciality related discussions;
• makes use of their analytical and synthesizing skills in their field of speciality;
• creates preconditions for continuing education in Master’s Study;
• has acquired competences meeting the requirements set on professional higher education and in compliance with international aviation standards that would enable working in the field of aviation both in Estonia as well as abroad;
• knows the characteristic features and importance of team work and is able to work in a team interconnecting the different influences of the environment, resources, standards and human abilities.
• takes into account international requirements in running an aviation company;
• has acquired knowledge about managing and coordinating the work of different subunits of an aviation company;
• has gained knowledge about planning and analyzing the financial activities of an aviation company;
• knows the basic principles of personnel policy and customer service and applies them in an aviation company.
