Learning outcomesThe student having passed the curriculum of
Aircraft Engineering: • knows the speciality related international requirements; • applies theoretical knowledge and practical skills in engineering and planning of aircraft constructions and systems, and in carrying out the overhaul; • knows the aircraft on-board instruments and systems, and working principles of its different units and systems; • is able to use different speciality specific tools in real working situations; • explains orally or in writing in the Estonian and/or the English language speciality related problems; • is familiar with and able to use aircraft maintenance documentation both in the Estonian and the English language; • has an advanced sense of responsibility for their speciality related activities, in drawing up of aviation related engineering documents incl., aimed at ensuring aviation safety; • has acquired the basic knowledge of the profession of a mechanical technician/avionics technician as prescribed by EU and EASA regulations; • knows the characteristic features and importance of team work and is able to work in a team interconnecting the different influences of the environment, resources, standards and human abilities. • creates preconditions for continuing education in Master’s Study.
