Subject 'Russian for Beginners II'Name in Estonian: Vene keel algajatele II

Goal of subjectThe goal of the course is to acquired the basic knowledge of the Russian language and the basic aviation terminology. The course follows the TORFL programme equalling to the EU Language Proficiency Framework level A1.1 - A1.2.
Learning outcomes of the subjectThe student having passed the course:
- understands and is able to use everyday expressions; - is able to express simple concrete wishes/requests; - can ask concrete questions (e.g. on one's place of residence, family, his/her own personal issues) and answer the same type of questions; - is able to communicate in simple sentences if spoken to slowly; - can write short and simple notices and fill out different formulae; - has acquired the basic knowledge of Russian grammar: use of nouns, formation of different tense forms, formation of plurals of adjectives, formation of simple sentences, etc; - has acquired basic aviation terminology.
