Goal of subject

To give the theoretical basis of analog and digital signal processing.
To teach to solve main problems associated with analog and digital signal processing.
To teach to associate algorithms and structual circuits.
To show the possible signal processing applications in practice.

Learning outcomes of the subject

Having finished the study of the subject a student has to be able:
To operate with formulas of analog and digital signals.
To find the main parameters of the signals (power, average values etc.).
To make analog to digital and digital to analog conversions.
To find the spectrum of analog signals and spectrum of the digital signals using discrete- and fast Fourier' transform.
To develop and use digital filters.
To compose circuits for analog and digital signal generation and use common signal processing algorithms.
To operate with the random signals.
