Learning outcomes of the subjectThe student having passed the subject:
1. Understands the role ANSP in air transportation system, the operational structure and working principles of an ANSP. 2. Orients in international developments in ATM domain, particularly in Europe. 3. Knows the European basic ATM regulation, the common requirements and the certification procedures for ANSPs. 4. Orients in different operational development and managerial change programmes. 5. Knows the various business interests of ANSP general stakeholders. 6. Has acquired the knowledge related to business planning of the Air Navigation Services Provider organisation. 7. Orients in modern technologies of Air Traffic Management and is able to apply the knowledge in solving practical tasks. Subject course descriptionThe subject on Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP) Management deals with explaining of the role played by different aviation organisations and enterprises within the air transportation system, and particularly of
- the ANSP, its operational structure and working procedures - various business interests of general stakeholders of ANSP - practical knowledge related to operational assets of ANSP - factors involved in the planning and decision-making necessary to operate an ANSP as a successful and contemporary business in European Union regulatory environment - tools and processes used in ANSP business management - major contemporary issues and challenges pertaining to the management of ANSP Is taught in following curricula* Optional subject
