Higher Education InstitutionTallinn University of Technology, https://ois2.ttu.ee
Goal of subjectThe goals of the subject are:
• to give the theoretical basis of analog and digital signal processing; • to teach to solve main problems associated with analog and digital signal processing; • to teach to associate algorithms and structural circuits; • to show the possible signal processing applications in practice. Learning outcomes of the subjectStudent who has passed the subject:
• is able to operate with formulas of analog and digital signals; • is able to find the main parameters of the signals (power, average values etc.); • is able to make analog to digital and digital to analog conversions; • is able to find the spectrum of analog and digital signals using discrete- and fast Fourier' transform (FFT); • is able to develop and use digital filters; • is able to compose circuits for analog and digital signal generation and use common signal processing algorithms; • is able to operate with the random signals.
