Subject 'Speciality English Language II'

To improve the students' competence in spoken English and improve their listenng skills extending and reinforcing their knowledge of all vocabulary relating to aviation.

The student having passed the course:
1. knows all the aviation related vocabulary of the topics covered and is able to use it in practice;
2. can express him-/herself accurately and confidently in an interview situation;
3. can develop and participate in discussions or talk on aviation related topics;
4. recognizes and understands English as spoken by different races and nationalities.

During the course the students cover the topics that meet the ICAO requirements on language proficiency for air traffic controllers. Mostly the course focuses on extending and reinforcing the speciality specific vocabulary, developing the fluency of speaking and listening comprehension.
