Subject course description

The aim of the course is to describe nature of real-time systems (RTS), the principles of software and hardware design. RTS communication with "real world", different aspects of sensors, actuators and control systems; life cycle, properties and analyse of RTS are introduced. Development and limitations of RTS software and hardware are described. Concepts of concurrent software engineering, embedded systems engineering and distributed systems are covered.
Main part of the course uses practical approach to the material.
